OUR GIN JOURNEY

Mile Marker 66 Barbecue was established in 2017 as a competition barbecue team.

After several early line up changes the team make-up was set in concrete as Matt,
Heather and Jared.

Competing at the highest level with the best New Zealand had to offer, Mile Marker 66 established themselves as one of New Zealand barbecues stalwarts.

One evening, over a few quiet gins, the idea was pitched to create a Mile Marker 66
Gin.

The rest, as they say, is history.

    Matt and Heather’s love of gin started around 2019. Introducing the team to many fine gins sparked
    the idea to create our own.
